Councilmen Praise Neighborhood Library, Call on Providence Public Library to Make Repairs and Transfer Ownership
Councilman David A. Salvatore (Ward 14) and Council President Michael A. Solomon (Ward 5) this month continued their support of the Mount Pleasant Community Library.

Ward Seven Councilman John J. Igliozzi visited Children's Friend & Service's (CFS) new location at Point and Friendship Streets and met with their executive director and staff.

Councilwoman Sabina Matos (Ward 15) confirmed that she will not participate in the City’s pension plan for elected officials, a decision she made after learning about the special pension in December.
Councilman Nicholas J. Narducci, Jr., Ward 4, sent a letter last week to Superintendent of Providence Public Schools, Thomas Brady, requesting that the department’s maintenance division inspect the roofs of all City schools.
