Ward 7 Councilman John Igliozzi is pleased to announce he is sponsoring three (3) movie nights this month.  Each night will feature a popular family film.

Off the heels of an active week discussing Mayor David Cicilline’s elimination of property tax exemptions for landlords, City Council Majority Leader Terrence M. Hassett has vowed to re-visit the issue for the 2011-2012 fiscal year, his office announced today. 

New Rate would require General Assembly Approval
City Council Majority Leader Terrence M. Hassett will push for an alternative property tax rate for tax exempt institutions in an effort to stem Providence’s waning tax capacity, it was disclosed today.
