Neighborhood Improvements Coming to Ward Six

Councilman Michael J. Correia unveiled several capital improvements that will occur throughout Ward 6. The projects, which will begin in the coming months, are listed below.

• Repaving of Glenbridge Avenue from Manton Avenue to Button Hole Drive
• Repaving of Manton Avenue from Olneyville Square to Brushill Road
• Improvements to Triggs Field
• Improvements to George West Park
• Planting of trees along Roanoke Street and Carleton Street

“As a resident, I have witnessed the dramatic effects past investments in our streets, sidewalks and parks have had in our neighborhoods,” said Councilman Correia. “Now, as a new councilman, I wanted to continue Councilman DeLuca’s practice of improving our neighborhoods, streets and parks to increase the quality of life for all residents of Ward 6. It is tradition that I am proud to be a part of, and I look forwarding to rolling out more neighborhood projects soon.”
